Wayman Group is currently seeking a Maths Teacher to join a lovely independent school in Barnet starting in April. Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the school's curriculum
2. Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation
4. Foster a love for Maths by exploring different teaching methods and approaches
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
6. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior
7. Communicate with parents and guardians to provide regular updates on student progress
Minimum Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching Maths at the primary or secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
* Excellent classroom management skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with educational best practices
