POSITION PURPOSE

This roleis responsible forprovidingoverall quality and compliance during the clinical development processes (GCP and GLP), across all categories:

1. Plan and conductGCP/GLP/GCLPauditsindependently or as a Lead or as a team member or in a support role.

2. Supportfunctional activities related to pre-clinical and clinical developmentto ensurethese activitiesare conductedin accordance withapplicable regulatory requirements, guidelines, laws, and established quality standards and practices.

3. Serve as a GCP and GLP partner with stakeholders to solve compliance issues, drive quality improvements and improve animal, human research practices, patient safety, and data integrity.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

4. Plan and conduct global GCP/GLP/GCLP audits independently / as a Lead / as a team member / in a supportive role.

5. Communicate and document audit findings, compilecorrectiveand preventive action (CAPA) evidence.

6. Maintain auditprogramand/or contribute to elaborate auditprogram. The scope of the audit program includes clinical investigator sites, external service providers, and internal processes.

7. Support the development and maintenance ofClinicalQualitySchedule in Master Services Agreements

8. Coordinate and support internal stakeholders during regulatory inspections (., FDA, EMA, MHRA).

9. Assistin the development and implementation of a Quality Management System and SOPs for clinical/non-clinical activities in compliance with applicable GCP and GLP regulations;participatein maintenance of CDA&I SOPs.

10. Escalate and investigate significant compliance issues to line management

11. Mentor and support other members of CDA&I

12. Provideexpert advice for GCP/GLP compliance strategy, quality improvement, process and program initiatives and risk assessments.

13. Support Significant Quality Investigations (SQIs) and Serious Breaches (SBs) for human subject research activities, whererequired

14. Train/coach, guide, and influencethe respective business functionson GCP/GLP procedures, compliance, and regulatory standards, enhance quality culture.

15. Build andmaintainbeneficial working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

16. Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree

17. Preferred Level of Education: Master of Science Degree or PhD Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent

18. Job-Related Experience: 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience with at least 5 to 7 yearsinclinical quality assurance and auditing.

COMPETENCIESAND SKILLS:

19. Proven ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.

20. Expert knowledge of applicable Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good LaboratoryPractice (GLP) regulatory requirements and guidelines, and company policies & procedures.

21. Detailed knowledge of human subject research activities, clinical developmentprocessesand R&D systems.

22. Self-motivated and quick learner who proactively shares knowledge and welcomesknowledge and feedback from other team members.

23. Ability to deliver key process improvement initiatives.

24. Ability to adapt to changing business and riskenvironment.

25. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

26. High degree of organizational awareness and working towards resolution with complianceissues.

27. Demonstrated ability for good verbal,writtenand presentation skills.

28. Ability and desire for domestic and international travel.

29. Ability to interact and work remotely either part or full time.
