Job Description
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will play a key role in daily store operations by providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and maintaining the store’s appearance.
Customer focus is at the heart of our approach. You will seek ways to enhance service through on-the-job coaching and feedback, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.
You will be Responsible For
* Serving customers with passion and pride, delivering natural, friendly service.
* Encouraging customer feedback through surveys.
* Assisting across various store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
* Applying training to work safely and effectively.
* Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events to foster an inclusive atmosphere.
* Understanding store performance and contributing to profit goals.
* Living our values, making everyone feel welcome, and following policies.
* Clocking in and out accurately to ensure correct pay.
* Following security procedures and wearing safety equipment as required.
* Following the 'think 25' policy when serving age-restricted products.
* Responding promptly to assistance calls and explaining actions to customers.
* Maintaining a clean, organized, and clutter-free environment.
* Potentially managing the store in the absence of managers.
* Completing all necessary training to ensure safety and compliance.
* If applicable, managing the day-to-day operations of the Post Office, including passing background checks.
