Maintenance Engineer - DaysPanama Shift PatternBlackburnSalary £46,800We are looking for a confident Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical Bias to join our clients Engineering Team at their busy manufacturing site in Blackburn.You will need a strong understanding of Hydraulics and working with the wider engineering team you will be responsible for maintaining the machinery, supporting machine set ups and improving cycle times.Having experience and a good understanding of plastics process, injection, blow moulding machinery and manufacturing would be advantageous, to further enhance the team at this global manufacturing site in the heart of Blackburn.Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance EngineerCarry out planned and reactive maintenance of machinery on site.Diagnose and fault-find, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faultsSupport machine changeovers, tool changes and continuous improvement activityWork closely with production teams to minimise downtimeEnsure all work is carried out in line with health & safety proceduresComplete maintenance documentation accuratelyExperience & Qualification required for a Maintenance EngineerApprentice-trained or time-served Maintenance Engineer with a minimum Level 3 qualificationExperience working on injection and blow moulding machines would be an advantageMechanical backgroundStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience within a manufacturing or FMCG environmentProactive, flexible and a strong team playerSalary and Benefits of a Maintenance EngineerSalary £46,800Panama Shift DAYS 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 offHoliday 34 Days (includes 2 week Christmas shutdown)Free on-site car parkCanteen facilities, including hot drinksLearning & Development opportunitiesIf you feel you are ready to take the next step in your career and have the right skills and experience for this Maintenance Engineer role please click Apply or contact Dannie on 07778 355284Maintenance EngineerPanama Days£46,800TPBN1_UKTJ
