Hays Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Sefton, to recruit an enthusiastic andmitted Teacher of Geography to join their Humanities department from Easter 2026 until the end of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Geography specialist to make a real impact, teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
Your new role
Responsibilities for this role include;
1. Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
2. Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
3. Assessing, tracking and supporting pupil progress
4. Contributing positively to the wider life of the school and department
5. Upholding the Catholic ethos and values of the school (all faiths warmly weed)
What you'll need to succeed
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (including KS4)
8. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
9. Effective classroom management and amitment to high standards
10. Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
