Overview
We\'re recruiting an experienced Sous Chef who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and helping to deliver truly incredible food experiences. Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations
* Lead and motivate a fast-paced team to deliver excellent results
* Oversee food preparation and service in a high-volume environment
* Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation standards are always met
* Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and health standards
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
* Apply experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior CDP to take the next step in leadership
* Thrive under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency
* Provide clear communication and be a natural team player
* Be organised, reliable, and passionate about food and service excellence
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior CDP ready for the next step
