Salary: £35000 per annum

We are currently seeking a dedicated Generator Mechanic to join engineering team at the Equipment Support Facility in Swindon. The appropriate Generator Mechanic will be reporting to the Spares and Repair Manager; you will play a pivotal role in inspecting equipment returning from loan and ensuring Portable Electrical Generation equipment meets safety standards for field reuse. Your responsibilities will include producing survey reports, conducting maintenance and servicing, providing technical support to other trades, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Complete Generator Maintenance and Servicing within contracted timeframes.
2. Provide technical advice and support to other trades regarding fault investigation and generator-related matters.
3. Conduct training and mentoring of apprentices.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
