Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and hands-on Store Manager to lead our Warrington Tesco store. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager ready to take the next step in their career.
You’ll be leading a small, close-knit team, so we’re looking for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment. Experience in optics would be ideal, but what’s most important is your ability to coach for high performance and develop your team to deliver exceptional customer care.

Responsibilities
* Lead a small, close-knit team in a hands-on retail environment.
* Coach for high performance and develop the team to deliver exceptional customer care.
* Be customer-obsessed and provide exceptional service.
* Remain delivery-focused and solve problems for colleagues and customers.
* Manage a team, select and develop colleagues, and work with HR.
* Develop and implement store improvement plans.
* Manage resources to meet demand and maximise sales.
* Display a positive attitude to influence others and support the team.
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience in leading a store or team (store management or assistant management).
* Experience in developing store improvement plans is desirable.
* Ability to manage resources to meet demand and maximise sales.
* Strong problem-solving capabilities for colleagues and customers.
* Strong emotional intelligence to support yourself, colleagues or customers in difficult moments.
* Proven ability to work as part of a winning team and learn from mistakes.
* Experience in managing a team, selecting and developing colleagues, and coordinating with HR.
