Job Summary
We're hiring a Marketing & Business Development Executive - a dynamic, multi-skilled role blending marketing, sales, and client engagement. You'll be key to driving growth, increasing our brand presence, and signing up new homeowners.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of marketing and sales experience, looking to take ownership, grow quickly, and make a visible impact in a small but ambitious business.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Growth
* Develop cost-efficient marketing and sales strategies to grow bookings and acquire new homeowners.
* Manage our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook), building our following and brand voice.
* Work with content creators, or create content yourself, to showcase properties and lifestyle branding.
* Plan and launch paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads) to generate homeowner leads.
* Monitor performance and ROI, adjusting strategy accordingly.
Business Development
* Generate and follow up homeowner leads.
* Meet clients, attend property viewings, and present our services.
* Prepare proposals and pricing packages to win new business.
* Build long-term relationships with homeowners and partners.
Brand Building & Partnerships
* Collaborate with local businesses (restaurants, venues, attractions) for cross-promotions.
* Support guest experience initiatives, helping us maintain high review scores and repeat bookings.
* Represent Short Stay Harrogate at local business events and networking opportunities.
What We're Looking For
* A do-er Somebody that wants to be apart of a small business with the ambition to lead and come up with strong ideas.
* 2–3 years' experience in marketing, business development, or property/hospitality sectors.
* Confident communicator with strong people skills.
* Creative eye for branding and social media.
* Experience running paid ad campaigns (Google, Meta, or similar).
* A self-starter who thrives in a varied role and can grow with the business.
