As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within Global Banking Technology, you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
1. Participate in the design and development of scalable and resilient systems using .NET Framework, .NET Core, and React to drive continual, iterative improvements for product teams.
2. Execute software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, primarily using .NET technologies and React.
3. Create secure and high-quality production-ready user interfaces.
4. Produce or contribute to architecture and design artifacts for applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
5. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
6. Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
7. Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
8. Focus on application development, creating efficient and user-friendly software.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
10. Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient applied experience
11. Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability using .NET Framework and .NET Core.
12. Design and develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using React, HTML, and CSS, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
13. Proficiency in using TypeScript to develop robust applications.
14. Implement and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use, ensuring consistency and efficiency in UI development.
15. Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies, and apply them to improve the user experience.
16. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
17. Expertise in JavaScript frameworks, particularly .
18. Proficiency in testing to ensure software quality, reliability, and user-friendly software.
19. Experience in building reusable components.
20. Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and database querying languages.
