Role Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Senior Care Assistant to join our Care team. Reporting to Head of Care and Registered Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* To be involved in the reviewing and updating of resident's care plans on a monthly basis
* To ensure any change of needs is reflected in the resident's care plans to ensure all physical and emotional needs are being met and carried out by the care team.
* To be able to review and update the risk assessments (Water, FALLS, MUST)
* To be able to do complete or review body maps
* To work alongside the Registered Manager in care plan monthly audits and implement necessary changes accordingly
* You will look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person centred care and support.
* Liaising with outside professionals to ensure residents live well
* Administer medications and be able to supervise a team of dedicated care assistants
* Act as a role model and always respect dignity and preferences of our residents
Key Requirements:
* A caring nature and be ready to go an extra mile to make a difference in someone's life
* Excellent communication and customer skills, at all levels
* Minimum NVQ2/ NVQ3 or willing to do NVQ 3 qualification
* Good understanding of Adult social care policies and procedures
* Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
