About the Role We are looking for an experienced Clerk of Works Technician / Assurance Officer to ensure the highest standards across mechanical, electrical, and maintenance works under the NEC Form of Contract. You’ll play a key role in inspecting, monitoring, and reporting on site activities while working closely with Contractors, Design Teams, Project Managers, and other stakeholders. What You’ll Do Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks. Maintain detailed site diaries and prepare clear, accurate reports. Monitor programme progress, identify defects, and ensure Health & Safety standards. Provide technical guidance and input on buildability and specifications. Attend site meetings, pre-handover, handover, and defects inspections. Act as the SME for the Clerk of Works service, supporting portfolio, programme, and project delivery. What We’re Looking For Construction-related degree (Surveying, Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services). Minimum 5 years’ Clerk of Works experience. ICWCI, RICS, or MCIOB accreditation. Strong knowledge of statutory regulations (Building Regulations NI 2012, CDM 2015). Excellent reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Valid Northern Ireland driving licence, CSR / CSCS card, and access to a vehicle. Why Join Us?
