£13.00 – £14.00 per hour DOE
Monday to Thursday 07.30am to 16.30pm Fridays 07.30am to 13.30pm

Our client a manufacturing company based in central Dorchester is seeking a METAL POLISHING OPERATIVE to join their team on a temporary on-going basis. For the right candidate it could lead to a permanent position at the client discretion. You will be assisting the manufacturing team to finish metal products to a high standard. Metal polishing experience is required from either industrial or engineering backgrounds.
1. Polishing of stainless-steel metal components;
2. Fettling, Grinding, Deburring
3. Polishing out weld seams
4. Using various hand tools
5. Operate within safety guidelines and any operating procedures
6. Liaise with Production Manager to ensure jobs are completed on time
7. Clean and maintain work area and equipment
Within your CV, you must show evidence of the following skills:
8. Evidence of previous experience within CV
9. Experience of using twin spindle polishing brushes desirable
10. Excellent communication skills and able to follow instructions
11. Ability to prioritise workload and pay attention to detail
12. Team work is essential with this role
Candidates must hold:
13. Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
