The Role: As a Band 8a/8b Forensic Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert psychological assessments and interventions within forensic settings. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting thorough psychological assessments of individuals in forensic services
* Developing and implementing evidence-based interventions and treatment plans
* Providing individual and group therapy to address complex mental health needs
* Conducting risk assessments and contributing to risk management plans
* Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
* Providing consultation and advice to colleagues and external agencies
Requirements:
* HCPC registered Forensic Psychologist with significant experience in forensic mental health
* Strong assessment and formulation skills
* Experience in delivering a range of therapeutic interventions within forensic settings
* Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
