Operations Manager - School Catering

Required Skills:
* Proven experience managing and developing teams in a similar capacity within the Education sector (Flexible on experience but would suit those with Area Manager, Catering Manager, Multi-Site Manager backgrounds)
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
* Flexibility and adaptability to change with a proactive problem-solving approach
* Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and responsibility
* Strong leadership and planning abilities to inspire teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Full driving license with willingness to travel across multiple sites
Nice to Have Skills:
* Experience with budget management and cost control
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
* Familiarity with operational innovation and process improvement methodologies
* Child safeguarding certifications or experience in safeguarding practices
Preferred Education and Experience:
* Relevant management qualification or equivalent experience in operations
* Prior management experience in education catering or similar fast-paced service environments
* Track record of leading successful teams and driving continuous improvement

* Full UK driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites
* Commitment to health and safety regulations and safeguarding standards
