The Vacancy
We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as an Application Support Developer! You’ll join a forward-thinking, supportive, and driven team, carrying out second line IT support activities including Incident, Problem & Knowledge Management processes. The L2 Development Support team is a key contributor to IT Service and is responsible for technical escalations within Evri. We’re looking for an ambitious candidate who takes initiative and has a passion for learning. The role is hybrid with an expectation to be at our Morley office each week, alongside remote working days.

Role Responsibilities
* Provide 2nd line Application Support on complex internally developed applications
* Own challenging issues through to resolution and work on a broad range of complex technical activities
* Be part of an on-call rota providing technical support out of hours, 24x7, 365 days a year
* Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
* Support the administration and maintenance of production and internal environments with a view to automation improvements
* Assist with the smooth transition of new features and applications into Production and IT Service
* Contribute to the evolution of products and services through Problem Management and Service Improvement activities
* Perform Knowledge Transfer and ‘shift left’ activities to improve support levels
Candidate Requirements
* Information Technology degree or equivalent qualifications are desirable but not essential
* A desire to take ownership of your own learning and development; eager for knowledge and proactive in asking questions
* Previous experience in an IT Support role is desirable
* Proficient in SQL scripting
* Experience supporting cloud-based IT systems
