Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team and develop new skills in the world of Radiology. The successful candidate will work on a rota, with extended days and weekends. You will support the work of the Radiology Department to assist Radiologists and Radiographers in performing a range of Radiological procedures, including Ultrasound and CT.

This position is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the contract.
Main Duties of the Job
* To assist in all aspects of patient care within the Radiology department.
* To assist with housekeeping duties, i.e., cleaning specialist equipment.
* To make up slides of biopsy samples for microscopic examination by Histology / Pathology.
* To work cross-site between Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, Heatherwood Hospital Ascot, King Edwards VII in Windsor and St Marks in Maidenhead as and when required.
Qualifications – Essential Criteria
* GCSE English and Maths pass or equivalent.
Qualifications – Desirable Criteria
* Relevant healthcare qualifications e.g. nursing, NVQ.
Experience – Desirable Criteria
* Previous experience in a similar post or dealing with the public.
* Experience of working in the NHS.
Skills & Knowledge – Essential Criteria
* Knowledge of Health and Safety issues.
* Friendly, caring and approachable manner to patients and staff.
* IT literate and ability to navigate several interlinked digital and IT systems.
* Must communicate effectively at all levels.
* Ability to work under pressure.
Skills & Knowledge – Desirable Criteria
* Knowledge of X-rays e.g. A level Physics, Biology or equivalent.
