Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist – Mental Health based at Woodland View Hospital.

What you will do:

Key duties as part of this role will include:

1. Providing highly specialised advice in all pharmaceutical matters relating to the care of individual patients.
2. Providing a specialist clinical pharmacy service within the mental health directorate including in Woodland View Hospital and Community Mental Health Settings.
3. Contributing to the wider development and improvement of pharmaceutical services
4. Accountable for the safe and cost-effective use of medicines within their areas of practice

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

5. RPS Post-Registration Foundation Pharmacist Credentialing (or demonstrable evidence of clinical knowledge equivalent to that level)
6. Required to demonstrate a highly specialised level of clinical pharmacy knowledge skills, clinical reasoning and judgement
7. Good knowledge, awareness and understanding of relevant professional and clinical standards and guidelines
8. Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Hours:

37 hours per week Monday - Friday 0830am-1630pm Weekend working is undertaken in accordance with departmental rotas

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
