Social Worker Addiction Service – Renfrewshire Council
Location: Renfrewshire, Scotland • Pay Rate: Up to £40 per hour • Contract: Agency Contract – Minimum 12 Weeks • Working Pattern: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week (Office-Based and Community Visits)
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake addiction assessments and reviews.
* Complete Section 4 Care and Treatment assessments.
* Manage and support a caseload of current clients.
* Work with individuals experiencing addiction and associated mental health issues, including anxiety disorders.
* Conduct home visits and community-based interventions.
* Develop and review care plans to support positive outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker.
* Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
* Minimum of 1 year’s post-qualified social work experience.
* Previous experience within addiction services is highly desirable.
* Ability to undertake home visits and community-based work.
* Strong assessment and care planning skills.
