Key Responsibilities
* Lead the strategic delivery of accounting, insight, and advisory services across a diverse, high‑value client portfolio, reporting directly to Client Relationship Partners on additional advisory lines and overall client care.
* Oversee and manage departmental working capital, taking complete ownership of budgeting, cost control, billing management, and debt recoverability to drive operational profitability.
* Spearhead regional and national business development strategies by driving lead generation, orchestrating comprehensive proposals for new client acquisitions, and actively participating in high‑value, multi‑discipline firm pitches.
* Direct the operational resource planning for the team, establishing clear project frameworks and briefing senior managers and supervisors to ensure execution strictly aligns with quality and compliance benchmarks.
Key Qualifications
* Hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or an approved equivalent) with extensive post‑qualified experience maintained within a reputable professional practice environment.
* Demonstrate a proven track record as a designated Line Manager, with comprehensive experience handling staff appraisals, career mentoring, and overseeing complex deliverables reviewed by junior management tiers.
* Showcase verified experience in a work‑winning team, with the direct capability to spot client inefficiencies, introduce new entities to a practice, and cross‑refer specialist lines.
* Possess advanced technical expertise in UK financial reporting frameworks, including a strong working knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105 compliance standards.
