Job Title: Mobile HVAC Engineer
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions provides integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are seeking a Mobile HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to cover sites in Manchester, Leeds, Wakefield, and Newcastle.
Role Summary
* Identify and manage risks related to equipment on site, including critical spares, performance improvements, and environment control via BMS.
* Maintain a comfortable environment using new equipment and technologies, liaising with clients on reactive and PPM tasks.
* Fault find on HVAC plant and equipment, especially VRV air conditioning systems, with F-Gas handling qualifications.
* Support Health and Safety initiatives within the team.
* Act as Energy Champion and Safety Champion for the site.
* Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the maintenance team.
* Write and review Risk Assessments and ensure compliance with legislation.
* Complete documentation accurately using mobile devices and CAFM systems.
* Plan daily tasks using email and calendar tools.
* Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager regarding building services issues.
* Deputise for the site supervisor during leave or sickness when required.
* Work overtime, including nights and weekends, as needed.
* Perform ad hoc duties as required.
* Supervise and manage subcontractors.
* Participate in an on-call rota for emergencies outside normal hours.
Experience Required
* Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship
* Proven HVAC maintenance experience
* Mechanical qualifications to City and Guilds standards
* Multiskilled abilities
* Fault finding skills
* Contractor supervision capabilities
* Risk assessments and method statement writing
* Understanding of permits and safe systems of work
* F-Gas refrigerant handling certification
Desirable Skills
* Working at Height qualification
* IPAF / PASMA certifications
* AP qualifications
* BMS system experience
* HVAC controls knowledge
