We’re currently recruiting for aCompliance Scientific Assistantto join our Quality Control team. In this role, you will maintain a high quality of analytical data and provide compliance support to the QC analytical team, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
1. Prepare, and aliquot control materials
2. Ordering, receipt and preparation of Oligos
3. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments like the QS6/QS7, Spectramax, and Hamilton robots
4. Routine stock check of Oligos and control materials and booking of laboratory space and instruments
5. Perform cell line maintenance
6. Preparation of assay reagents and buffers when required.
7. Work with OXB Engineering team to support equipment maintenance & repairs performed by external contractors
8. Play an active role in performing routine pipette training of scientists
9. Perform cell line maintenance
10. Play an active role in addressing actions from internal quality audits and H&S audits.
11. Perform RNA & DNA extractions & general assays like pH, Appearance and Osmolality when required and analytical assays to verify Control materials when required
We are looking for:
12. Science Graduate with a biological background or experience working within a pharmaceutical regulated environment
13. Understanding of GxP regulations and QC testing within a GMP enviroment
14. Aseptic technique and tissue culture techniques
15. Computer literate (word, excel, MS Office) •
16. Pipetting technique
