Capabilities include: In-house market knowledge & trends End-to-end service from idea generation through to manufacturing and launch Technical, commercial and production expertise Outstanding customer service About the Finance Team Based within the Beauty Division of the business, The Finance Team is responsible for invoicing and receiving cash from customers, paying suppliers whilst maximizing internal cashflow, monitoring operational overhead spend and maximizing value add to EBITDA. As the business expands and takes on new challenges in the form of acquired businesses or new ventures, finance is there to support every step of the way, leading to dynamic and challenging roles – no two days are the same! About the role Reporting to the Finance Director, the Ledger Supervisor is responsible for the operating cash of the business inclusive of both sales and purchase ledger duties. Daily tasks will vary between invoicing our customers, reconciling bank transactions to paying our suppliers. As a Ledger Supervisor you your responsibilities will be: To ensure that accurate and timely completion of the sales ledger including but not limited to: a. Producing and distribution customer invoices accurately b. Producing customer statements c. Allocating and reconciling customer remittances d. Chasing and reporting aged debtors e. Dealing with any customer enquires To ensure the accurate and timely completion of the purchase ledger including but not limited to: Passing and processing and processing supplier invoices/credits b. Producing and allocating supplier payments c. Reconciling supplier statements d. dealing with all supplier invoice/ credit queries To produce accurate month end reports across purchase and sales ledger, understanding the detail and content To maintain and update where necessary accurate procedures of all aspects of the job role, ensuring adequate cover can be arranges in times of absence To accurately complete monthly petty cash reconciliations To accurately complete pre-paid card and employee expenses in line with policy To accurately process new supplier credit application forms in line with policy To follow all company polices and procedures, raising any concerns to the financial controller To assist and perform any other accounts duties as and when required Management of 1 FTE Communicating effectively and positively with all teams, colleagues and managers.
