They are looking for a Machine Operator to join their existing team on a temporary ongoing basis. The Machine Operator Role: As a Machine Operator, you will be operating and running the Laser machines Manufacturing components to a high standard Ability to interpret and work to engineering drawings Using engineering measuring equipment such as Vernier’s, callipers, or Micrometres Maintaining machinery by cleaning it and making sure it is in working order and checking and ordering materials needed. Working with multiple types of metal, including stainless steel and aluminium Removing and cleaning of finished parts ready for Production. Completing your own quality control checks Completion of documentation Keeping to tight deadlines and targets The ideal Machine Operator Laser machine 5 Axis operating experience Previous experience of operating laser cutting machines, setting would be an advantage Excellent communication skills Has the ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines. Ability to plan and work from own initiative, with minimum supervision Applicants will need to demonstrate attention to detail and reliability Must be a self-motivated individual.
