This role is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of requirements, testing, and deployment of all finance reporting systems for both BAU and project activities, ensuring key internal and external deadlines are met.
You will work closely with UK&I Finance and IT stakeholders to gather, manage, and develop requirements that support strategic project delivery and meet internal and external reporting obligations. You will also provide timely support across various reporting cycles to ensure accurate and on-time financial reporting.
This role is hybrid and can be based out of our London or Horsham office.
You’ll make an impact by:
* Deliver application development for Tagetik, including design, build, testing, and promotion to production, ensuring all documentation and governance requirements are met.
* Provide system administration support, including user access management, version upgrades, and database administration tasks.
* Work closely with UK&I Finance, CIO teams, and Finance Reporting Systems users to support knowledge sharing, training, and ongoing system improvements.
* Provide ad hoc financial and analytical support to Finance and Actuarial teams as required.
* Maintain good relationships with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial controls, regulations, and IT frameworks.
* Contribute to the development of best practice processes to improve financial reporting, accounting, and control standards.
Your skills and experience:
* Proven experience of good and effective leadership skills at Team Leader level, fully aligned to LSFs
* Good influencing skills and ability to manage stakeholders.
* Good organisational skills and a thorough knowledge of Intacts systems and best practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams and with relevant external parties.
* Experience of developing, coaching, and building high performance teams and improving overall effectiveness.
* Ability to coach, mentor, motivate and upskill colleagues in their teams.
* Commercially astute with demonstrable experience of taking accountability for delivery.
