This is a full-time position. Hours will vary Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. At Seacoast Mental Health Center, we provide hope and promote recovery for children, adolescents, adults and their families in the Eastern half of Rockingham County. Experience Required: Bachelor's degree preferred. 2 years experience or 3-4 years related experience. CPR and First Aid training is recommended. Tasks: This person will be a member of the team responsible for meeting the administrative support needs of the clinical staff and the center, as determined by the Administrative Operations manager. The major task of the Admissions Representative will be to develop a smooth and efficient admissions process in accordance with the standards set by the center. 1. Meet with each new and reapplying client to process admission paperwork. This process includes: a. Review, complete, and explain required paperwork. Secure patient signatures on all necessary forms. b. Verify insurance, setting fees, explaining the patients financial obligations. Refer patient to our benefits specialist if appropriate. c. Data entry of all pertinent information into our Electronic Health Record. 2. Responsible for sending required correspondence to all new patients which includes intake packets and no show letters. 3. Develop the expertise necessary to work effectively with all payers. 4. Provide assistance to the Accounts Receivable (A/R) with collection efforts and billing inquiries. 5. Will provide back-up data entry/scheduling assistance to the Administrative Assistant for front desk functions and Office Manager as requested. 6. Provide assistance to the clinical staff as needed to obtain authorizations.
