We are looking for a Delivery and Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the delivery of high-quality repair, maintenance, and improvement services for our housing portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction, statutory compliance, and the successful delivery of major investment and climate change projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the delivery of major programmes for statutory compliance, including gas servicing, fire safety, asbestos, and carbon reduction initiatives. Ensure optimum value for money through effective procurement and operational delivery of housing services within budget and on time. Oversee the client function to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement in service delivery for the Council’s housing portfolio. Direct and motivate a team of staff who audit and validate contractor work, ensuring high standards and compliance with regulations. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and CDM regulations in all housing and building maintenance activities. Develop and implement Asset Management Strategies, ensuring the most efficient use of resources in the Housing Revenue Account (HRA). Work on climate change projects and manage major investment programmes to ensure housing stock remains “fit for purpose” in line with sustainability goals. Manage budgets effectively, monitoring financial performance and reporting on any major deviations from budget profiles. Engage with tenants and stakeholders to support project implementation and maintain strong communication throughout the process.
