We are currently partnering with a market-leading Speciality Insurance company to recruit a Lean Delivery Manager. The successful candidate will support the planning and execute end to end transformation initiatives within a business unit and deliver sustainable results as identified through the strategic planning process.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Lead the overall deployment of a Lean transformation, with responsibility for initiatives and continuous improvement practices and routines
* Define current and future states, including implementation plans, impacts, and value of proposed changes in collaboration with business unit experts
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with Business Unit leaders to understand priorities and embed continuous improvement within their teams
* Apply a standard set of Lean and problem-solving tools to generate insights, develop solutions, and support effective delivery
* Deliver against performance objectives outlined in the project charter, ensuring outcomes meet agreed expectations
* Take accountability for the consistent and successful delivery of agreed Lean standards across initiatives
* Facilitate training sessions and problem-solving workshops with senior managers and teams
* Coach senior leaders in their roles as sponsors, and support leaders at all levels in sustaining continuous improvement practices
* Collaborate with leaders and managers to provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership
* Support managers and teams in identifying, prioritising, and realising tangible benefits through effective use of tools and techniques
The ideal candidate:
* 3+ years’ experience as a lead practitioner with demonstrated success in supporting change.
* Insurance industry background with an understanding of operational management practices.
* Development & Implementation of Lean / Continuous improvement initiatives.
* Relevant business improvement qualifications, e.g. Green Belt, Lean Competency System
