Job Summary
We're looking for a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to help keep our college environment safe, clean, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors at our Moreton campus in the beautiful location of Moreton near Dorchester. You'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across classrooms, toilets, and staff areas.
Duties include emptying bins, restocking supplies, and ensuring Health & Safety practices are followed.

The role could be part of a job-share arrangement.
Duties
* Clean classrooms, toilets, staff areas as directed
* Empty bins and dispose of waste safely
* Refill soap, toilet paper and other consumables
* Use appropriate cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively
* Follow Health and Safety procedures including COSHH regulations
* Report any maintenance of safety issues to Manager
* To deep clean areas on request
* To keep up to date with training schedules
Experience
* Previous cleaning experience in either a self employed or employed capacity is essential
* Previous experience in cleaning in a school, college environment, healthcare or commercial environment desirable
Qualifications
Level 1 or 2 in any health & safety, cleaning or infection control competence desirable, as is previous Safeguarding training
Skills
* Excellent cleaning skills
* Understanding of COSHH and infection control
* Ability to work independently
* Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with line manager
* Awareness of health and safety
* Physical fitness
* Good time management
* To become an effective member of the staff team
