Supply Chain Supervisor

We’re recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain professional to lead a small, high-performing team within a busy and compact engineering setting. This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee the full end-to-end movement of materials, ensuring operational efficiency while using systems and data to drive smarter decision-making.
This position offers the opportunity to bridge day-to-day operational execution with strategic oversight - ensuring materials flow seamlessly, compliantly and in line with production demands.
The Role
You’ll lead a team of four, covering order management, goods in/out and warehouse optimisation, while taking ownership of system integrity and supply chain performance.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Managing the daily flow of materials from receipt through to distribution, ensuring production is fully supported.
Acting as the systems “super user” maintaining planning parameters and ensuring data accuracy across supply chain and warehouse functions.
Producing and analysing KPI reports (inventory accuracy, supplier performance, etc.) to identify trends and drive improvements.
Coordinating with third-party logistics partners and customs contacts to ensure smooth international shipments and full compliance with import/export regulations.
Leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, improve efficiency and strengthen overall supply chain resilience.
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines operational leadership with strong analytical capability.
5+ years’ experience within supply chain or logistics, including supervisory experience.
Strong ERP system experience and confident Excel skills, with the ability to interpret and manipulate data.
Solid understanding of international shipping, customs processes and trade compliance
Commercially aware, solutions-focused and confident making decisions in a fast-moving environment.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to present data clearly to stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills are essential, with the ability to analyse large data sets, create reports and dashboards, use formulas (e.g. lookups, pivot tables) and translate data into clear, actionable insights.
