Staffline is recruiting a Print Plate Mounting Assistant in Leeds.
The rate of pay is £ per hour.
This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, 4 on 4 off, and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 7pm
- 7pm to 7am
Temporary to permanent opportunities!
Your Time at Work
As a Print Plate Mounting Assistant you will prepare printing plates for press operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and production isn't delayed. Other duties include:
- Help fix any problems with plates or alignment.
- Prioritise and mount plates correctly for each press.
- Check job tickets, plates, and sleeves before mounting.
- Clean plates and sleeves properly before use.
- Match plates with job specs and use the right tools (PIFA, cameras, etc.).
- Log jobs in the APS system and complete paperwork accurately.
- Keep your workspace clean, tidy, and safe.
- Report any issues to the Mounting Coordinator or Manager.
- Follow health, safety, and quality standards (BRC, ISO, etc.).
- Help with production tasks and equipment upkeep when needed.
Full training is provided, but experience in a similar production environment is essential.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will be able to work 12-hour shifts (days & nights on rotation). You will be happy to do some lifting and bending.
Experience in a similar role is required.
Knowledge of quality/safety standards or lean manufacturing (, 5S) is helpful but not essential.
