We are seeking a passionate Deputy Head of School to join a specialist Secondary Alternative Provision setting in Thrapston. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to support vulnerable young people, drive high standards across the school, and help create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students can thrive..
The Role
* Support the day-to-day leadership and management of the school
* Lead on teaching, learning, behaviour, and student progress
* Support students with SEN, SEMH, and additional needs
* Coach and mentor staff to deliver high-quality education
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school culture
* Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are consistently met
* Work closely with families, external agencies, and the wider leadership team
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience within SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision settings
* Strong leadership and behaviour management skills
* Passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
* Resilient, proactive, and adaptable approach
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
