Housekeeping Assistant
To be self-motivated and enthusiastic, keeping the centre and grounds clean and tidy following our policy's
Contribute to high standards at the centre by ensuring that you work to best ability
Follow instructions given by our cleaning supervisors
Be committed to being trained and developed by our housekeeping team.
Positively support the management and contribute to new ideas
To be compliant with all Health & Safety regulations including COSHH
Daily cleaning of public and behind the scenes areas
Fast and efficient bed and room change overs, with excellent customer service skills.
Enjoy working in all weathers outside in beautiful surroundings
Working hours between 8am and 6pm working a 42.5 hr week
Personal Spcification
Responsibilities
Clean designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc). Cleaning to the highest standards.
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
Notify the relevant Coordinator/Manager of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
Stock and maintain supply rooms.
Cooperate with the Stubbers Staff Team.
Bedroom change overs for residents
Help to organise linen deliveries and storage
Attend morning meetings and staff training events
Skills for the role
Good basic cleaning knowledge and skills
Stays up to date with the Stubbers objectives and ongoing initiatives.
Focuses on the team.
Plans ahead and works in a systematic way.
Gives cheerful helpful service.
Uses previous experience to identify solutions.
