Office Administrator – up to £35,000 per annum plus benefits


Location: Cranleigh, Surrey

This is a newly created and unique role reporting to the UK Sales Director. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of our UK office and sales administration. They will act as a key interface with customers, couriers, warehousing, and distribution, maintaining constant contact with our Head Office and manufacturing plant in Southeast Europe. This role requires focus, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with the Sales Director and the wider overseas team. There is potential for flexible working hours and some remote work after a successful probation period.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Manage our database and customer records
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date systems and records
3. Plan and organize logistics for product and sample delivery from factory to customer via UK warehouses and distribution hubs
4. Interface with customers, handle new inquiries, draft quotes, and process orders
5. Place orders with the factory
6. Manage communication via calls and emails, ensuring appropriate actions are taken
7. Forecast stock levels and control inventory
8. Identify and implement continuous improvements to processes and procedures for efficiency


Qualifications and Experience:

* Experience in a busy and diverse administrative role
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
* Highly organized and detail-oriented
* Proactive and self-motivated
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with a team


Salary and Benefits:

Up to £35,000; NEST Pension; On-site parking; 28 days annual leave (including statutory holidays); Hybrid working after probation; Working hours Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with some flexibility; Full-time position with potential for reduced hours (minimum 30 hours/week); Location: Cranleigh offices with potential remote work post-probation.
