Role Overview
As an Enterprise Applications Consultant, you will be part of the Enterprise Architecture function, reporting into a Domain Architect and supporting strategic engagements across multiple operating companies.
This is a hands‑on consulting role with a strong blend of functional expertise, process diagnosis, and solution design. You will help each operating company evaluate their finance and operations processes, identify critical gaps, and shape clear, pragmatic solution options aligned to group standards.
You will operate in a federated environment — requiring strong judgement, excellent stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work autonomously.
What You’ll Do
Functional Expertise & Architectural Enablement
* Act as a subject‑matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
* Ground recommendations in real D365 capabilities, configuration options, and constraints
* Apply deep functional knowledge across:
* Supply Chain
* Production
* GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank
* Budgeting & Forecasting
* Fixed Assets
* Inventory & Warehousing
* Recommend priorities for standardisation, optimisation and deferral
* Ensure Finance & Operations recommendations integrate coherently with wider architecture
* Support delivery partners by defining scope, intent, and success criteria
Diagnosis & Consulting
* Lead or support Finance & Operations workstreams across multiple consulting engagements
* Connect operational processes to financial outcomes to avoid system‑only viewpoints
* Identify key pain points, risks, data issues, controls gaps, and technology constraints
* Help shape solution options, prioritisation logic, and high‑level roadmaps
