Welsh-Speaking Year 6 Teaching Assistant Required Location: Cardiff Hours: Full-time (08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday) Pay: £90 – £110 per day, dependent on experience (paid weekly) Start Date: April Are you a confident Welsh speaker with a passion for supporting older primary pupils? We are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Cardiff seeking a dedicated full-time Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 class. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in preparing pupils for their transition to secondary school. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to provide targeted support, reinforce learning, and help pupils build confidence during this important stage of their education. No formal qualifications are required; however, previous experience working with children—particularly in Key Stage 2—is highly desirable. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach are essential.
