JDR are hiring for multiple CNC programmers for one of their clients in Newcastle under Lyme.

Contract type: Permanent vacancy.
Pay rate: £16.50 to £18 per hour, depending on experience.
Working hours
* Day shift: 7:30 – 4:30, Monday to Friday; finish at 12:30 pm on Friday.
* Night shift: 18:00 – 4:30 am, Sunday to Thursday (shift allowance included).
* Work a fixed shift.
What does the role look like
* Programming, setting and monitoring of lathe, mill and turning CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.
* Regularly performing quality checks on finished products in line with the company's QMS.
* Working to estimated production times.
* Working within the company's H&S policy.
* Ensuring the work areas are organised and tidy.
* Ensuring tooling is returned to the tool stores.
* Ensuring material is returned to the material stores.
What we're looking for
* An experienced CNC setter who has worked through the full CNC lifecycle, including programming, setting and operating.
* Programming experience with Heidenhain, Mazatrol or Siemens controls would be a benefit, as would any experience with CAD/CAM software.
* A person with an eye for detail and who can quality-check finished products.
