Are you a seasoned Finance Manager looking to make a meaningful impact in a purpose-driven organisation?
We’re exclusively working with a well-established social enterprise and charitable organisation based in Bedfordshire to recruit a Finance Manager who will lead financial operations and contribute to strategic development. This is a pivotal role in a values-led environment, offering the opportunity to shape financial processes and support a diverse, inclusive community.

* Salary: £50,000–£55,000 (DOE)

* Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30
* Location: Onsite presence preferred due to operational needs
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, you’ll lead the finance function and oversee administration and IT support. You’ll manage two direct reports and play a key role in:
* Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* Payroll and HR systems
* Compliance with HMRC, VAT, Gift Aid, and other statutory requirements
* Supporting strategic decision-making and operational improvements
* Leading upcoming key projects
About You
We’re looking for a strong, empathetic leader with:
* Proven experience in senior finance roles
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Commercial awareness and inclusive leadership style
* Experience in social enterprise or charity settings is highly desirable
* Confidence in mentoring, coaching, and working with diverse teams
* Comfort working onsite in a collaborative, community-focused environment
