Accounts Assistant
£30,000 – £36,000 | Teddington | 6 Month Contract (Potential to Go Permanent)
A growing, project-focused business is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be involved across day-to-day finance, payments, and payroll support.
What You’ll Be Doing
Processing supplier invoices from receipt through to payment
Checking and matching supporting documentation
Managing supplier queries and maintaining accurate records
Supporting payment runs and ensuring deadlines are met
Processing contractor and external supplier payments
Tracking costs and investigating discrepancies
Supporting payroll processes
Assisting with ledger entries and general finance tasks
Providing ad hoc admin support to the finance team
What They’re Looking For
Experience in an accounts or finance support role
Good understanding of core accounting processes
Confident using Excel and finance systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Able to manage workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment
