Business Development Specialist – Primary Healthcare Relationship Manager | Essex | Full Time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract |

Spire Healthcare have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Specialist – Primary Healthcare Relationship Manager to join our hospital teams, on a 12-month FTC, driving our growth strategy and business development plans. Travelling to sites is required.

Duties and responsibilities:

The purpose of the HUB Relationship Manager will be to grow Primary Care referrals (patient numbers and revenue) by making Spire Healthcare the first choice for patient referrals from GPs, Allied Health professionals such as Physiotherapists and Osteopaths and to identify and maximise business development opportunities presented by commissioning groups.

Who we're looking for:

1. Face-to-face field sales experience within a corporate or healthcare environment
2. Evidence of results achieved through customer relationship management
3. Understanding of the UK private healthcare system
4. Commercial awareness
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
6. Proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised
7. Competent user of MS Office
8. Strong prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week – predominantly Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.00, however there may be requirements for evening/weekend working depending on business needs, such as events etc.

Location: You will be based across our Essex and East London Hub, with site visits including Spire Hartswood Hospital, Spire Wellesley Hospital and Spire London East Hospital. There will also be some homeworking involved.

Contract type : Permanent, 12-month FTC
