Our client is a local council looking to hire a Light Vehicle Mechanic in central Nottingham. This is a contract position, but could lead to a permanent position for the right applicant. This is an immediate start!

Role Overview:
As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a fleet of vehicles, therefore the necessary experience and qualifications are required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment
* Vehicle diagnostic and repair
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment working to SOPs and legislation
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience as a vehicle mechanic essential
* Must have a valid UK Driving License
* Must hold IMI level 3 light vehicle maintenance & repair or equivalent (city and guilds) as a minimum.
* Ideally you will have an MOT tester licence as well (class 4,5 & 7).
