The Contract Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery of a best-in-class service and strategic plan aligned with growth objectives, providing a competitive advantage. The role involves managing the JD Sports contract within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, ensuring safety, operational processes, and overseeing day-to-day teams.

How will you contribute?
1. Deploy operational and commercial objectives to deliver the JD Sports contract plan and growth.
2. Monitor and measure performance to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.
3. Manage resources and skills effectively to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
4. Manage and optimize all transport management KPIs related to delivery, compliance, H&S, and costs.
5. Oversee all systems, processes, procedures, and training across sites under your control.
6. Drive consistency in transport operational practices and performance, fostering collaboration and best practices.
7. Ensure service excellence through continuous improvement and an engaged team.
8. Develop, improve, and implement JD Sports operational plans to meet company goals.
9. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver services, initiatives, and growth.
10. Manage the transport budget, maintaining costs through KPI management.
11. Deliver top standards in health & safety, wellbeing, and sustainability.
12. Work closely with finance teams for business forecasting and target achievement.
