Senior Civil Engineer

Overview:
Our client has an immediate vacancy in their Gloucester office for an Experienced or Senior Civil Engineer. The candidate will ensure the quality and accuracy of the engineering is to the highest standard and will be responsible for the quality management of designs and the commercial performance of projects.
Our client is very active in the following areas:
• Commercial housing of all kinds
• Social housing
• Care homes
• Renewable energy projects – notably wind farms
• Industrial developments
• Remediation
• Commercial and industrial
• They aspire to grow their presence in the rail sector
They have projects throughout the UK, but most of the work is in South Wales and the South West of England. The role therefore requires the candidate to be empathetic and supportive of staff working with their design team and will be confident and engaging with our valued clients. The candidate will undertake technical design work and reporting themselves so they will be required to have good written and verbal communications skills.
