We are currently supporting students across Nottinghamshire and are experiencing high demand for English tutors with experience in SEND. Role Overview As a SEND English Tutor, you’ll work directly with students who require additional support in English, designing and delivering lessons that are engaging, personalised, and aligned to their individual learning plans. You’ll play a vital role in helping young people overcome barriers to learning and succeed in their education. What You'll Do Deliver bespoke English tuition sessions to students with SEND and/or SEMH needs Adapt content and teaching style to meet individual learning preferences Prepare thoughtful, student-centred lesson plans Provide clear and concise written feedback after each session Travel to homes or educational settings across Nottinghamshire Break down complex English topics into accessible and understandable formats Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times What We're Looking For Strong understanding of English curriculum.
