Vacancy: Personnel Assistant within Finance and Corporate Resources. The role involves working within the Oracle Fusion Helpdesk team, providing first point of contact support to employees and managers on a wide range of HR-related enquiries and policy matters. The successful applicant will deliver a high level of customer service, with experience in a busy, customer-focused environment, and the ability to provide professional HR advice with confidence.

Hours: 35 hours per week, Permanent
Work pattern: Monday – Thursday 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM, Friday 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Salary: £29,326 – £34,399 per year
Responsibilities
The role involves:
* Providing first point of contact support to employees and managers on HR-related enquiries and policy matters.
* Delivering high levels of customer service in a busy environment, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Providing professional HR advice with confidence.
* Being resilient, positive and solution-focused; prioritising own workload and delivering an excellent service to managers and employees across the Council.
* Handling reporting requirements for the service with strong IT and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and develop skills and knowledge.
