We deliver Gas turbines to the Oil & Gas and Industrial Power Generation customers. Our business concept is to create the highest customer value by addressing project drivers in different applications and configurations when applying our unique selling features. The investments are often huge with local or international companies as Owners, JV Partners, Operators or EPC/FEED/PRE-FEED contractors. The selection of the Gas Turbine is critical for the overall project success, having high impact on CAPEX and OPEX but also on uptime where actual reliability and availability make a difference in production of electricity, compression and heat.
How You’ll Make An Impact
* In your role as FEED Manager, you will support Sales globally in the project development phase meaning, finding best Siemens Gas Turbine fit in conceptual designs, PRE-FEED or FEED phases. The ambition is to position the products of Siemens Energy and thereby increasing our chances of winning the project in the bidding phase. This is a key position.
* We are looking for a manager that wants to take up the challenge and thereby actively contribute toward Siemens Energy success in a competitive market. We believe you already have comprehensive experience and network in the Gas Turbine market for Oil & Gas and Power Generation. You need to have a technical depth but and good communication skills to be able to perform in meetings with different parts of a customer organisation including meeting with rotating equipment specialists. With a strong support from your colleagues in the department, the management, and other resources within the company, you will be able contribute toward your own and Siemens Energy’s success.
* You will be targeting Oil & Gas, Industrial Power Generation/Utility/Data Centre as well as and Brown Field Exchange (BEX) projects.
* In addition, you will also be involved in:
* Pre-qualifying new or upgraded products to new or existing customers
* Scanning the market for new features or new applications of our products
* Being at the frontline in this competitive market means that you often are the first person to hear about a competitors technical and commercial move. Your feedback to different disciplines of the organisation such as Strategy and Research & Development is therefore essential
* This is a key position. We are looking for a manager that wants to take up the challenge and thereby actively contribute toward Siemens Energy success in a competitive market.
* To be most effective there will be a mix of office tasks and regional and international travelling
* With a strong support from your colleagues in the department, the management, and other resources within the company, you will be able contribute toward your own and Siemens Energy’s success.
What You Bring
* We believe you already have comprehensive experience and network in the Gas Turbine market with some of our customers for Oil & Gas, Industrial Power Generation/Utility/Data Centre and BEX.
* You need to have a technical depth but and good communication skills to be able to perform in meetings with different parts of a customer organisation including meeting with rotating equipment specialists.
* Good presentation skills when participating customer events, internal strategy workshops or papers at external Industry type conferences.
* Internally you need to be a good team player, while externally being creative and solution oriented when driving for success.
About The Team
You will be part of the global FEED organisation who covers all products within Gas Services with members in UK, Sweden, Canada, Spain, Thailand and China. The department is today about 20 people and growing rapidly.
