The Role:
* To carry out dimensional & visual inspection of components to customer requirements.
* Utilise precision measuring tools like Calipers, Micrometer, Shadow Graph & special to product gauges.
* Carry out dimensional inspection using CMM & OGP.
* Visual Inspection of components to a very high standard.
* Use of customer drawings & specifications.
* 1st off Inspection.
* Communicate clearly & effectively results with supervision and management.
* Health, safety and environment compliance.
Requirements:
* Previous experience of aerospace inspection.
* Must be able to confidently interpret drawings.
* Understanding of GD&T.
* Comfortable following strict procedures.
* Excellent attention to detail and methodical working practices.
* Patient and diligent.
* Highly motivated by high standards & product improvement.
* Ability to use manual inspection equipment.
* CMM & OGP inspection advantage, but not essential.
