We are seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to join our team at The Crown & Cushion Welburn. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations, leading a team of kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the kitchen team in all aspects of food production, Following spec's and food preparation.
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
* Manage kitchen inventory and control food costs.
* Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
* Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and repairs.
Skills:
* Proven experience in a culinary leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
* Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes.
* Ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff.
