gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a CNC Operator to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden City
Performance Objectives
1. Set and operate a small CNC (HURCO)
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings, models and specification
3. Use of basic handheld inspection equipment (vernier, micrometre etc.)
4. Carry out daily /weekly machine maintenance /checks
5. Ensure all jigs and fixtures are stored correctly and are in serviceable condition
6. Report any machine defects to Line Manager
7. Comply with all company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
8. Use of all measuring equipment as defined within Inspection Plans to check conformance to requirements.
9. Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant inspection plans to ensure that components are conforming prior to passing on to subsequent operations.
10. Ensure that components identified as non-conforming during in process inspection are identified and communicated in accordance with the Non-Conformance Procedure.
