We’re looking for a talented Practice Manager to join our Primary Care Team at the prestigious GP Practice - The London General Practice.

What You’ll Do
* Oversees all daily practice operations, including but not limited to: management of the medical secretaries (including temporary staff), appointment scheduling, clinical letters, billing procedures. Provision of medical secretary/administrative management and any additional support that is required to run the practice.
* Ensures that an adequate number of appropriately trained professionals and personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the patients.
* Ensure the smooth running of the practice and highest levels of customer service to the patients and GPs. Consults with other managers, supervisors and staff concerning practice operations, problem solving and service improvement.
* Makes written and oral reports and recommendations to leadership concerning the operations of the clinics.
* Perform weekly and monthly practice financial audits, reporting all discrepancies to line manager. Support the chairing of key meetings.
* Oversee invoicing, debt collection and practice accounts where required.
* Acknowledge, investigate and respond to complaints with compassion, and in line with the Complaints Handling policy. Escalate where appropriate.
What You’ll Bring
* A Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (or equivalent experience is desirable.
* Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within a healthcare practice setting. Including people management, and awareness of people management policies is essential.
* Proficiency in practice management systems.
* Knowledge of medical terminology and patient confidentiality requirements.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively.
* Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Understanding of budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting within a healthcare setting.
